Song of the Day

I have had this song stuck in my head all day. But, not the normal "My Guy" version. I've had "My God" stuck in my head all day from Sister Act. I LOVED the soundtrack of this movie. This song is SO good & funny at the same time. If you give it a "look-see". From 1:05 on, I imitate the voices. Yes, I admit it. I do. I just love it that much. This movie makes me very happy. They remind me of my nuns growing up. I still go to see them all the time at Praise & Worship and guess what...they are just like these nuns. They are older but hip. I can't explain it. It is too funny. Remember one of my dearest friends is a nun and we wear similar sandals. LOL!

Coffee Slut Started It...LOL

Sue my wonderful bloggy friend at Coffee Slut posted her teen fantasy video of David Soul. So it got me to thinking of actors who sing. I used to LOVE this song...I confess. So many people didn't know Don Johnson could sing...and look so good doing it. This is him back in 1986. Does anyone remember this song and/or like it?

Song of the Day

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for you support about my writing class. I really appreciate it. So far I love it! I have writing to do already. I have to write a short biography about myself. That should be easy. Ok, maybe not. I have to get my creative juices flowing. What is really cool about it is that we post it online & the teacher and the fellow students all leave their opinions. Should be interesting.

Anyway, this song has been stuck in my head all day. I really like it. Have any of you heard this?? Do you like it? The name of it is "Rise Above This" by the band Seether.

Today on the radio station we listen to during our workday someone had requested this. I can't tell you how long it was since I last heard this song. It was a pleasant surprise. Now that I re-watch the video, it brings back so many memories and also helps make me feel SO much older.
