Saturday 9: If You Could...

1. If you could have named yourself, which name would you have chosen, and why?
Hmm? I always liked the name Amanda or Samantha. I even like their nicknames of Mandy and Sammi or even Sam. So either of those two.

2. If you could relive a year in your life, what age would it be, and why?
I think I would chose my senior year in high school. I would have made different decisions as far as going to college instead of travel school. My Mom had just got diagnosed with cancer and I didn't want to go away to school. I was supposed to go to The College of William & Mary in Virginia. I didn't want to leave. I should have just went to a local University instead of travel school.

3. If you could go back and change one friendship in your past, who would it have been, and why?
Jimmy Norris...see question 4.

4. If you could have dated one person in your past that you did not date, who would it be, and why?
I had the biggest crush on Jimmy Norris in grammar school. He was adorable and such a little nerd. LOL! When I was of "dating age", he was living in a different town and we went to different high school. He went to an all boys Catholic and I went to an all girls Catholic. We just weren't destined to be together. Colleen and I both had crushes on him. We used to say that we would take turns dating him if we could. LOL! I ran into him when I was 21yrs old. He was a bouncer at a night club. Someone told me he worked there. I went purposely to see him. I go in there, walk up to this buffed-up guy and ask him.."Is there a Jimmy working here tonight?" He then replies, "Well there is a Jim working here." I said, "Great, can you point him out to me?" He then replies, "It's me Jodi." - LOL! I didn't recognize him because the little nerdy boy turned out to be a gorgeous, muscular man. We went out that one night and had a great time after he got off of work. He gave me all of his phone number. For some reason, I never called him. I don't know why. But I did have a great time telling Colleen..."I got Jimmy Norris' phone number, I got Jimmy's phone number"...LOL! I'm SO bad!

6. If you had the opportunity to live in another country, which one would it be, and why? If you choose NOT to live in another country, why do you want to stay in your current country?
I would remain in the United States. But, I would like to visit for a lengthy time...Italy, Ireland and the U.K. I could even say I would live in each place for a long period of time...but my home is always the United States.

7. If you could choose your dream job, what would it be, and why?
To be Josh Holloway's personal assistant. Why? LOL...I'm not going there.

8. If you could wish a wish and it be guaranteed to come true (other than riches) what would it be, and why?
I would wish that I could have my Mother back. We didn't have enough time together. :(

9. If you could meet two blogger friends (you may choose more, if you wish) who would they be?
Well, funny you should ask because just two days ago, I got to meet the person I wanted to meet the most. :) I got to meet Sue. We actually discussed the term 'bloggy' friend and we don't consider ourselves "bloggy" friends we are friends friends. LOL Bloggy friends to me are online friends and we've become so much more than that now personally through emails, phone calls, cards...etc. And now, meeting in person. Meeting her was wonderful.. Her friendship is a blessing to me. Hmm? If I could meet others...I would love to meet Bud! That almost happened the other day. I would also love to meet Debbie and Bookkitten (I do know her real name but since she hasn't revealed it on her blog, I will keep it as Bookkitten). I would love to meet ALL of my bloggy friends, but those are the closest to me and also the closest in the vicinity where I live. Far away bloggy friends, there are SO many to name....

@ Bud...I know!! I can't believe they wouldn't page us. The restaurant wasn't that crowded either. I would have given you my cell # and I could have put you on speakerphone and it would have been like you were there :-D

@ Nurse - thanks! :) Have a good Saturday.
