Sunday Stealing and My Week

Sorry it took me so long to blog. I really had a crappy week and didn't want to come on here and whine. Well until now that is. Hehehe

On Tuesday I went to the pet store with my hubby. We go on his day off each week. The animal shelter behind the pet store keeps a few of their cats at the pet store in hopes that they will help them get adopted. There has been a cat there for adoption. Her name is Anna Nicole. She is just LOVE. She has been there for many months. She is 6yrs old, declawed, and a tad overweight...she weighs about 20 pounds. I seriously would take her but I'm afraid because Harley is on a special diet due to him having urinary tract disease when he was younger. I would alsobe nervous with the whole litter box situation. It would be hard to keep separate ones. Also, Harley just turned 16 so I don't want to stress him out. He is very territorial. Just look at her though...isn't she cute? How could anybody resist this face. I got to hold her just because I love to torture myself. I handed her back and cried. For some reason, I know I have to help her find a home.

Let's see what else happened at the pet store. Oh yes. I got bit by a Russian blue hamster. The little stinker. Too long of a story to post. All I know is, I didn't deserve it.

On Thursday I went to an orientation at unemployment to find out about schooling that they will pay for. I had to go through this whole big process to get a seat for a Job Training/Schooling workshop. Get this, it isn't until August 26th! Then at that point I go on the waiting list for the funding. It could take 3 months before I get cleared. But the good news is, they will continue to pay my benefits even in school. I decided to go for medical billing & coding. So we shall see.

That is pretty much my boring week. Onto the Meme....

By this time next year: Hopefully I will be in a new career that I will love that has a short commute.

My favorite aunt is: My Aunt Lu. She is hysterical!!! She has some of the same mannerisms that my Mom had.

I have a hard time understanding: the meaning of life

My ideal breakfast is: On my diet... 3/4 cup of Special K cereal, 1 cup of skim milk, and a small Gala apple. When I'm not dieting...Good Lord! Eggs over medium, burnt bacon, and well done hash browns with toast. Haven't had anything like that in 4 months.

If you visit my home town: You would be singing a song because a very famous song was named after it many years ago. I'll give you a hint...it had an amusement park there.

If you spend the night at my house: It would be the couch and a cat. LOL

Last night I: was exhausted....I've been sleeping like crap lately.

A better name for me would be: Jodi Presley or Jodi Holloway....umm, is this the 5th or 6th time we were asked this question? LOL
