Tonight my hubby & I got together for dinner with my best friend Colleen. That is us outside the restaurant tonight. We went to a place called Fuddruckers. We were watching the Superbowl there. I started paying attention when Bruce Springsteen came on. He and the E-Street band were friggin incredible. I didn't think anyone would top Tom Petty last year. Ok, I may be biased because I love Bruce, but seriously, they did an incredible job. I used to have such a crush on him when I was in my teens. Ok, I still do. I admit it. He looked SO good dressed all in black. I didn't even mind that soul patch under his lip. I think it is kinda sexy. My husband was laughing at me gawking at the screen. He worships Bruce and kept reminding me that he was 59yrs old and I said to him, "your point is?"
I mean really, look at him. He looks great. His voice is strong. He is The Boss.
A few years ago I got the priviledge of meeting Little Steven Van Zandt. That was the closest I've ever gotten to Bruce. He was AWESOME. We even got our picture together in the North Jersey paper. Not this one below, another one of us talking, facing each other. We were laughing in it because we were talking about a funny scene of him as Silvio in The Sopranos. It was a great shot. I have to see if one day I can scan the article somehow.

Yeah, was having a touch time keeping my jaw where it belonged. Bruce was damned hot last night, totally yummy. Glory. I'm just glad no one saw me drool...lol
That was a great halftime show. Bruce looked like he really was having fun instead of "just another gig".

That was the best halftime show in Super Bowl history. EVER. The best part about it was, I felt like I was RIGHT THERE. It was amazing!
BTW, my all-time fave Christmas carol is The E-Street Band's version of "Santa Claus is Comin' To Town."
