2. Name someone who made you laugh today.
My kitten Daniel (sorry, not a person) because he was acting very silly. Two bloggers posts made me laugh too but I don't know their real names to say who they are.

3. Do you believe exes can be friends?
That is a tough call. Usually if children are involved on some level they should try to be. If children aren't involved then no because friendship just usually leads to friends with benefits or mess around with each other in between relationship sex.

4. How do you feel about Dr Pepper?
I feel more for Diet Dr Pepper and even more for Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band

5. Who was the last person you took a picture of?
My kitten Daniel (not exactly a person)

6. Are you upset about anything?
Auditors coming to work this week so it will be a stressful work and I don't do stress well especially with MS.

This is a dumb question

I don't think that I am. Like I have never been arrested. I'm so boring I haven't even gotten a speeding ticket. So I take that back. I'm a good influence! I vote. I pay my taxes. Oh yeah and I don't cut the tag off the mattress either. Maybe I'm just a nerd. Or boring. Or both.

Sure..my boss last week when I found something for her. We have been preparing for audits and it has been very stressful at work so if I found a paperclip I would be perfect at this point. But it was just used in passing I'm sure. If only I was perfect. LOL! Actually..I am starting to think I am getting close to perfect because I had TWO blog posting days in a row!!!! After a 2yr hiatus that is pretty impressive!!!

Umm no one because I live where the only access to my window is a fire freakin escape so if someone is knocking on my window I'm either A)calling the cops or B)getting a baseball bat.

Hell yes! I also laugh alot which gets me in trouble especially at work. And when I used to go to church.

1. How often do you talk to your siblings?

I talk to my one sister every single day 2 or 3 times. My other sister usually every other day. My brother, unfortunately, is not a "reach out" kinda guy so I rarely talk to him.

2. How well do you deal when given an ultimatum?

I don't do well with them because I don't want to be forced into a decision and have to deal with a "it's either this way or that way".

3. Have you ever dated someone or had a lover who had an emotional or mental disorder?

No I haven't

4. How do you feel about crossdressing?

I don't really have a feeling about it. I don't do it & neither does anyone I know.

5. Have you ever lied about the number of sexual partners you have had to someone? Why?

No one has really asked me, not even my husband. Past is the past. The only one who knows is my best friend because we tell each other everything...and she isn't talking..LOL

6. Does your significant other have the same political and religious views that you do? How often do you discuss politics and religion with them?

Yes he does luckily. If he didn't I would be alright with that too. But since he does, it makes things easier. We really don't talk much about it either subject. I am more religious than he is but we do share the same faith & he does come to Mass with me so I'm happy about that.

7. What sport, if any, do you find to be most boring?

I think it is probably easier to ask me which sport I find interesting. I only watch baseball. I'm not a sports kinda gal.

8. Have you ever honestly peed in the pool?

When I was a child maybe once or twice because I didn't know any better. As an adult - no.

1.) You just bought a snazzy new leather jacket for an awesome price at the local outlet shop. When you got it home you found $2000 (cash) in the jacket's inner pocket. What are you going to do?

Normally if it were finding a wallet on the floor or a purse I would try to locate the owner. Now this is a NEW leather jacket that was in the inner pocket so that to me is just found money. I would split it with my husband. I would take my $1000, put $500 in the bank and I would pay a car payment with it and spend the rest on myself.

2.) If you could change or eliminate one wedding tradition, what would it be? What is your favorite wedding tradition?

I hated the receiving line...I know it sounds horrible, but I just did. I would also eliminate the father/daughter dance. My brother walked me down the aisle and it was awkward trying to pick a song for us. I went with a Kenny G instrumental to save us. My favorite tradition is in Catholic weddings sometimes the bride presents flowers to the Blessed Virgin Mary statue. I did this when I got married. It was special for me for two reason...honoring the Mother of Jesus and secondly I was honoring my Mom who passed away when I was 18 and was there with me in spirit. As you can imagine, I totally lost it when I did this.

3.)If you were on Gilligan’s Island, who would you want to share your hut with? Who would you consider it torture to have to share a hut with?

I would so rock the Professor's world so I would share my hut with him. I would be tortured if I had to share my hut with Ginger. She was too in love with herself. (I actually got to meet Dawn "Mary Ann" Wells two years ago at a signing...she was a doll!! Still so pretty and sweet)

4.) Have you ever called your current significant other by another name at any point? What happened?

Nope

5.) If you were going to be famous under a stage name, what would you pick your stage name to be? Why? What do you want to be famous doing?

I have always wanted to be a writer so I would like to be famous for that. I always wanted to sing but do not do it well so I would go with my other love - writing. I don't think I would pick a stage name but if I had to Hmmm? How about Jodi Presley?

6.) During sex, do you ever fantasize about someone other than your partner?

Nope

7.) Which is worse, being in a place that is too loud, or too quiet?

I think being in a place that is too loud is worse because I get headaches easily. Too quiet also would be bad because I like to laugh and talk so I would be fearful I would be disturbing people.

Saturday 9: Working In The Coalmines

Working In The Coalmines
1. What is your job and do you like it?
I am a corporate travel agent. Do I like it? Define like. Well, I like my boss & my clients so that is a good thing. My commute on the other hand is another story. It is 45 miles each way, but normally takes me 90mins each way. So 3hrs on top of working a full work day sometimes gets crazy.

2. What to you do to unwind after work?
Alcohol Coffee. Since my commute is technically after work, I have 90mins at least to entertain myself (2hrs at least on Fridays). I am a wiz at entertaining myself. I sing along to the radio like you would think I'm auditioning for American Idol (too bad the cut-off is 30), I sometimes amuse myself by making up songs too. What else, Oh yes, I talk on the cell phone. (yes, I practice safe driving, bluetooth is worn at all times..hehehe) When I get home, I unwind by having some dinner, watching a little TV, spending time with my hubby (wink), and just chilling & getting ready to do it all over again the next day.

3. Who have you known the longest of your friends?
Besides my sister, because she is one of my best friends, that would be my best friend Colleen. She & I have known each other since kindergarten. We met the day school began by the hopscotch area in our school yard. We will be best friends 31yrs come this September.

4. Who do you go to for advice?
My sister or my best friend.

5. Not counting your current relationship, how many times have you been in love?
Before my husband, I had a few long relationships, but I was only in love with one of them. That relationship lasted 4yrs.

6. What is your favorite snack food?
Better question is what isn't my favorite snack food would have to be ice cream. I like chocolate also and Doritos and chips.

7. What is the best meal you ate this week?
That would be my angel hair pasta with meat sauce and the leftovers that were left behind that Bud finished. (LOL!!!!!!!!!!)

8. What to you is the most important factor in romantic attraction?
Well to me honesty is the most important thing which also is tied with trust. I think a romantic attraction is the whole package - mind, body & soul. A sense of humor is a must. I'm not sure if I answered this question right. I've been up for 20hrs so I'm beginning to fade.

9. What do you think is your worst habit?
Probably the fact that I can burst into song at any given moment. If something reminds me of a song, I will just burst out and sing it.

I love to be by the ocean, the sound of the ocean, the smell, the beach. I much rather swim in a pool. There is less of a chance of getting bit by anything, no chance for seaweed to touch me, no jellyfish, and no riptides.

5. Some folks drink whiskey in the winter and gin, tequila (margaritas) or rum drinks in the summer. Does your alcohol of choice change?

No, I always drink Malibu Bay Breezes as my 'drink of choice'. I'm happy with my girly drink any time of year. Hehehe

6. What is your favorite summer song?

Currently it is "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock. Also like "Soak Up The Sun" by Sheryl Crow.

7. What was your best summer growing up? How old were you and why was it best?

When my Mom took me to California when I was 16yrs old. She past away when I was 18. So it was our last summer vacation together. We had SUCH a good time. She saved up for our trip for a very long time. I have such wonderful memories of that trip.

8. Have you ever had a summer romance that you knew would end?

No, any of my boyfriends prior to my husband lasted a few years. I never had a "summer fling".

9. How old were you when you first went skinny-dipping? Who were you with?

I have never went skinny-dipping.

Boy oh boy it sure is quiet on a Sunday morning. I think I have to change my career, become a writer and write on Sundays. Wait a second. Didn't "Carrie Bradshaw" write on Sundays in Sex And The City? Why yes she did. That is why Mr. Big (a.k.a. John James Preston) never asked her to go to church with him & his Mom. She was a wise gal that Carrie. She had wonderful taste in men (i.e. Big, Aidan)....

(Earth to Jodi...come back)...Oh sorry, I was daydreaming. OK..back to the real world. Sundays are very quiet around here. Hubby left for work at 6am. His alarm woke me up at 5am. I fed Harley & went back and laid down and finally arose at 6:15am because I figure why lay there when I can do stuff.

So, I planned on catching up on emails, writing in my blog, checking my blogroll list, etc. I'm about to make myself some coffee. I figure I will take a nap in a little while, then get ready to go up and see my sister. Tomorrow is back to the grind for another week.

Lobster reminds me of my best friend because she loves to go to Red Lobster.

I've been tagged by Linda at 2nd Cup of Coffee. Here are my answers....

1. List three things you would do with a chest full of gold (assuming you got to keep it!)

1) I would donate money towards the many homeless shelters around the US. Many don't have enough beds or enough food for them. No one should be living in the streets.

2) I would give money to my sisters

3) I would finally buy a house


2. List three charities/missions/organizations you support

1) American Cancer Society
2) One (Bono from U2)
3) Jerry's Kids

3. List three ways you have volunteered your time/services.

1) This wasn't at my parish, but another parish in a town close to mine, I would after work once a week to a place where they brought homeless women & their children in, cook for them & help the kids with their homework

2) A few years in a row I had gone Thanksgiving morning and helped make & serve Thanksgiving dinner (at lunch time) to homeless people & for people who didn't have anywhere to go for Thanksgiving

3) Where I went to high school (which was Catholic), there are nuns there and I still go & volunteer and help them when they need it or do different activities with them.

4. List three things you keep "hidden" when company comes over.

1) I throw everything off of my coffee table into a box & throw it into the closet because I have too much stuff on the table. I "clear" it off.

2) I have a basket on my bathroom vanity that I keep toiletries, brushes etc in...I put that next to the other box in the closet so I can "clear" off my vanity

3) It isn't that I hide these things, I bring them out....gifts that the person who is visiting gave me that I didn't particularly care for, I put it out so they can see that I am "using" it. LOL!

5. List the last three things you've lost.

Hmm...besides my mind? Let's see....I can't think of anything recently so I will say 3 things I remember losing in my lifetime.
1) A pair of sunglasses at a lake once...I went in to the bathroom to wash off the sand off of my feet and left them on the counter. Once I realized I forgot them I went back to get them, someone had already picked them up.

2) One time in NYC when I was around 11yrs old at a school field day trip...I lost my wallet. It was one of those black velcro wallets. I remember it only had some pictures and $5 in it, but I was upset all the same.

3) One time a friend and I went to Washington DC and I forgot my umbrella on a subway train in the Metro.

6. List the last three things you've found.

1) I found money in an old purse yesterday that helped me pay for my tattoo (yep, I have 3 now..LOL) But they are strategically placed. (the tattoo will be a different post)

2) Keys whenever I can't seem to find them...they drop to the bottom of my purse which is like the bottomless pit.

3) An unpaid bill just in the nick of time...had to be paid by the 15th of this month & I mailed it out on the 12th...I normally pay them right away so I don't forget. My hubby had used the envelope to write a number on and forgot to put it back. Grrrr!
