I've been Tagged....My Meme Questions/Answers

I've been tagged by Linda at 2nd Cup of Coffee. Here are my answers....

1. List three things you would do with a chest full of gold (assuming you got to keep it!)

1) I would donate money towards the many homeless shelters around the US. Many don't have enough beds or enough food for them. No one should be living in the streets.

2) I would give money to my sisters

3) I would finally buy a house


2. List three charities/missions/organizations you support

1) American Cancer Society
2) One (Bono from U2)
3) Jerry's Kids

3. List three ways you have volunteered your time/services.

1) This wasn't at my parish, but another parish in a town close to mine, I would after work once a week to a place where they brought homeless women & their children in, cook for them & help the kids with their homework

2) A few years in a row I had gone Thanksgiving morning and helped make & serve Thanksgiving dinner (at lunch time) to homeless people & for people who didn't have anywhere to go for Thanksgiving

3) Where I went to high school (which was Catholic), there are nuns there and I still go & volunteer and help them when they need it or do different activities with them.

4. List three things you keep "hidden" when company comes over.

1) I throw everything off of my coffee table into a box & throw it into the closet because I have too much stuff on the table. I "clear" it off.

2) I have a basket on my bathroom vanity that I keep toiletries, brushes etc in...I put that next to the other box in the closet so I can "clear" off my vanity

3) It isn't that I hide these things, I bring them out....gifts that the person who is visiting gave me that I didn't particularly care for, I put it out so they can see that I am "using" it. LOL!

5. List the last three things you've lost.

Hmm...besides my mind? Let's see....I can't think of anything recently so I will say 3 things I remember losing in my lifetime.
1) A pair of sunglasses at a lake once...I went in to the bathroom to wash off the sand off of my feet and left them on the counter. Once I realized I forgot them I went back to get them, someone had already picked them up.

2) One time in NYC when I was around 11yrs old at a school field day trip...I lost my wallet. It was one of those black velcro wallets. I remember it only had some pictures and $5 in it, but I was upset all the same.

3) One time a friend and I went to Washington DC and I forgot my umbrella on a subway train in the Metro.

6. List the last three things you've found.

1) I found money in an old purse yesterday that helped me pay for my tattoo (yep, I have 3 now..LOL) But they are strategically placed. (the tattoo will be a different post)

2) Keys whenever I can't seem to find them...they drop to the bottom of my purse which is like the bottomless pit.

3) An unpaid bill just in the nick of time...had to be paid by the 15th of this month & I mailed it out on the 12th...I normally pay them right away so I don't forget. My hubby had used the envelope to write a number on and forgot to put it back. Grrrr!
