What a jam-packed weekend! I think I need another 2 days off. My husband is a huge wrestling fan, so on Saturday, we went to an all-day wrestling signing. I was up from 3:15am because my cat wanted to eat early. Yeah, really early. But my alarm was set for 4am anyway. We needed to leave the house by 6am to get there for 7am. So, I was tired going into this. Well, needless to say, he had a great time and I am his designated photographer. When I'm not taking pictures of him with the wrestlers I am migrated with the very few women at the event shaking our heads in disbelief at our husbands and/or boyfriends.
LOL! Well, I guess everyone has their thing. Wrestling is his. If this was a LOST gathering or something with American Idol or Elvis, I would be as excited, if not, more. It is actually very nice because the same people go to these wrestling events and we became friends with so many so it is like a little reunion each time. So, I really do enjoy myself. It is very tiring though. We didn't get home until 6pm.
Sunday we slept in late. My husband normally works the weekends but took off for Saturday's signing. So, it is weird to actually see him in the daylight hours.
LOL! In the afternoon when I finally motivated myself to get myself showered and going, we went and had an early dinner at this really nice Irish restaurant we have been wanting to try. Whenever we try to go their it is packed. Because of it being 3pm, the "in between" lunch & dinner we lucked out. Plus an Irish band started performing at 4pm. So it was very nice. The food there was delicious. We both had what was called a "
Sligo"(pronounced Sly-go). What that is: On toasted
Irish soda bread - turkey, thousand island dressing, cranberry sauce, and melted Irish cheese. Then on the side - sweet potato fries. Yummy! It was SO good. Then for dessert, we shared Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Cake. I left what felt like 5 pounds heavier. But it was worth it I swear.
LOL!
Now back to work on

Wow, what a weekend. I think you deserve some kind of medal for selflessly going to the wrestling event, esp. since you've gone more than once! And thank you for voting for my not-so-cute mom picture. True friends vote for friends' not-so-cute pictures! I guess I should be honored to have been in the 15, but still--$1000.00??? Can't wait for Idol tonight!
