Lost Review - Episode 4.10 - "Something Nice Back Home"

WOW, what an episode. I think it answered some questions and like normal, raised other questions. I knew as soon as Jack tripped on the toy that this was a flash-forward episode and that he was at Kate's. That was very predictable. The toy gave it away. LOL! We also learn that in the post episode it is August 2007. Thank you to the newspaper Jack glanced out in the kitchen about the Yankees sweeping the Red Sox. That happened in mid-August of 2007. Now the plane crash was in September of 2004, which makes my accurate guess in a past post that Aaron looked around 3 years old. We also now know that this flash-forward is before Jack's flash-forward from last year. We know this because Jack got the prescription from the other doctor and starts what looks like an addiction to drugs and alcohol. We also see him have visions of his Dad. So that explains the reference in the past Jack flash-forward of last year when he told the doctor to "go ask his father". He is suffering from the same thing Hurley is, he is having visions of people that died on the island.

Now speaking of Hurley, how good of a a job did Jorge Garcia do with that scene between Hurley & Jack. I really felt for Hurley. He was so believable. When he started talking about Heaven, my first thought was 'here we go again with the Heaven and Hell thing...these writers are playing around with us again!" Anyway, I loved the scene in the hospital, even if it was a few minutes.

The episode really was jam-packed. Jack had his appendix removed by a fertility doctor and dentist. It is now definitely confirmed that both Danielle & Carl were killed. Remember, we hadn't seen the bodies. Anything was possible, they could have gotten up & walked away. But nope, they were barely buried and found by ghost-whisperer Miles. That guy freaks me out. He was given a "restraining order" from Sawyer to stay away from Claire. How weird was it that he wouldn't wake up Sawyer to let him know that Claire went off in the jungle in the middle of the night. Also, he may have "seen" the Dad she referred to. It was just bizarre. Maybe this explains why Aaron went home with Kate. Maybe they don't find Claire and they figure to get the baby off the island for him to have a normal life. Well as normal as normal could be with Kate as his "mother". One other point I would like to make is - I really like that helicopter guy Frank Lipidus. He just seems cool and out to always protect everyone. He knows who the "crooked" people are. I don't know, I just get a good feeling about him. I think he will play a pivotal part in rescuing the Oceanic 6. I just hope he doesn't suffer the consequences for it, but knowing the way that he is portrayed, I can see him sacrificing himself. Especially with the baby being involved, just like last night.

Another thing - ENGAGED?? Well we know it doesn't last because we saw them last year in a future flash-forward meeting at the airport when Jack said the whole "We got to go back" speech. That is when we first hear the "him" as being Aaron. Remember she said she had to get back to him "because he would wonder where she was". Wonder what she has to "do" for Sawyer that got post-island Jack all upset. I bet it involves his child or the woman of his child?
