Now I Know I Have A Problem

I am addicted, I admit it
I really am. I get one of these every morning before work. They are delicious. Have any of you tried them? To top it off with inflation the way it is, it only costs $1. Can you imagine that? I'm actually saving money. I was buying morning beverages from Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks at astronomical prices. Then I found "my sweet tea". What else is so cool about this is that they give it to you in this 32oz Styrofoam cup (did I mention it is only one dollar??) and the ice stays in ice form practically all day at work. And even if it waters down alittle, it just affects some of the sweetness, it doesn't have that "watered-down" taste.

Ok, sometimes I get two a day. Never more than two, I swear. But here is where I finally realized my addiction to this drink. This morning I stopped & got one. I have a long commute to work, but I try to stop at the Mickey D's closest to my job which is about 2 miles away. If I stopped at one near my house, I would drink the whole thing up during my 45 mile commute. Anyway, to make a long story short. I got it, put it in my cup holder and off I went. Got to love the drive-thru process. I get to work, I go to get out of the car and grab the cup and all of a sudden, I feel it dripping down my hand. Lid is on tight. What the heck? Then to my utter dismay, I find that my cup has a hole in it! It was leaking! So I tilt it to the side & hold my finger over the hole like in the cartoons when they try to stop a leak. It was a comedy of errors also when I noticed that my cup holder almost over-flowed with sweet tea floating in it.

Now here is where I know I now have a problem. Was I mad at the fact that it leaked all over my hand and arm and I was now sticky? Was I upset that I had to stick 10 paper towels into my cup holder to absorb the sweet tea pool? Was I upset that my cup holder was sticky and all I had to clean it with was Windex? NOPE! I was upset that 1/3 of my 32oz drink was gone. I literally said, "Oh now what am I going to do, I can't go back and get another one!" LOL! See, I told you I have a problem. But apparently I am not alone. A bloggy friend Ruthie suffers too from the same addiction. It is nice to know I'm not alone.

I would love to hear from any of you that have had this sweet tea - what do you think? Also, I would love to hear if any of you are "addicted" to a certain drink and/or food from a fast-food establishment, coffee place, etc.

snif...(wiping a tear)... that is such a tragic story. I feel your tea-deprived pain. Truly I do!

I haven't tried the sweet tea yet, I'm still drinking DD in hot form, I usually switch to iced when it gets warmer. But I will try, the next warm day we have, and give you my opinion.
