I Need A Day Off From My Weekend

Well my husband started his vacation this weekend. I go on mine next week. Normally we have opposite days off. I am off Saturday & Sunday and he is off Monday & Tuesday. So this weekend, we were together. This weekend was jam-packed. We had a wrestling signing on Saturday that lasted ALL DAY. My body is still recovering from it. We then went into Staten Island to take our friend home (from the signing). We got home in the early morning hours because we were hanging out at her house. Gosh, I'm paying for it now. This getting older thing is not fun! My birthday is next Sunday. I will be 36 years old in a few days and after this weekend I feel like I'm turning 76. Seriously, I was aching all day Sunday from standing on lines all day. I'm totally wiped out. I'm too pooped to pop.

My sister definetely needs the 2nd surgery we found out for sure on Friday when she went to see the urologist. He mentioned it to her when he put the 2nd kidney stent in, but said they would "talk" about it at her appointment. So, they are planning for him & another surgeon to do it together. It will not be as invasive as we thought, they are going to make a smaller incision than we thought, but he is going to go in with a robotic arm to do the surgery because it has to be precise and it is a delicate procedure that will take 3hrs to do. She will have to stay in the hospital at least 2 or 3 days. It has an 85pct chance of working. So please keep your fingers crossed. They are doing everything they can to save her kidney. The only thing is, that this may not be permanent. This could happen again. UGH! I'm assuming the surgery will be sometime within the next few weeks. She was worried it would fall on my birthday, but since it is on a Sunday that won't happen. I wouldn't have cared if it did. She comes first no matter what.

I'm telling you, this weekend was about lines and food. LOL! The food part was just so bad. I don't mean taste bad, I mean calorie bad. But it was so worth it. Saturday we went to Outback Steakhouse with our friend from the signing. Now if anyone has ever had Outback's "Aussie Fries", you all know how delicious they are...below is a photo of what the plate looks like. They are fries with different types of cheese & bacon on top served with ranch dressing for dipping (I prefer ketchup).
Then on Sunday, we went to out to an Irish pub/restaurant with my best friend. Like I didn't clog my arteries enough the day before I go and do it again. We had buffalo chicken tenders with medium (spice) Buffalo sauce & fries. I can't even tell you how good this was. Seriously, my mouth was on fire, but it was so worth it. It cleared my sinuses too. Here is what it looked like......
Now today I'm recovering from the lines and my bad food choices. I only have myself to blame..ROTFL!

Mmmmm ...that food looks good! We just had beans and hot dogs for supper, but I'd much prefer those fries!

the older you get the harder it is to drink you have to coast yourself b/c you will pay for it the next day!! and that's b/c you don't have kids having kids and then being hang over is the pits.
that is why I only have a drink once in a while now b/c there is my son the next day" mom what are we going to do today?" and all you want to do is sleep.
Your poor sister what cause her kideny to get bad? and is it just one or both? marina
