Major Catch-Up

My goodness I haven't been blogging since last week! I have never let it slip like that since I started my blog! I apologize to all my bloggy friends that I haven't been leaving comments. I need to catch up big time! It has been just a very hectic couple of days for me.

• Last Thursday I was SO busy at work that I didn't leave until 7pm then I was like speed-demon driving home because I needed to make it in time for the Season Finale of LOST. Boy do I have to do a review of that! That is on my to-do list. I watched the 1st hour which was a repeat of the last episode, then the 2hr Season Finale. All I have to say is - Whoah!


• Friday my sister was supposed to get the MAG 3 Renal scan to determine "officially" if it was indeed her kidney being obstructed. Even though the MRI showed it, the man who was her gastroenterologist (when they thought it was the gallbladder instead of the kidney)said it was the kidney & so did the radiologist, the urologist was having "none of that" and wants to be certain. In my opinion, just another way to make more money. Well, long story short, insurance denied her on Friday from having it done because she needed her referral - even though the hospital & insurance agent said that she didn't. So she is going today (Tuesday) for it with a referral in her hand. Unbelieveable. This poor woman is suffering SO much and there is just delays after delays. I'm sure they won't read the results until tomorrow. Her doctor is SO lackadaisical which scares me to death. It is just a big nightmare. I think it all boils down to him not wanting to admit that the stent didn't work.


• Saturday my friend came in from Staten Island. I picked her up at the train station. We went & did "girly" things like get our nails done, went out to lunch (not that men don't do that. LOL), and went shopping. I actually decided to drive her home instead of her taking 2 trains & a bus. That was the first time I ever went to Staten Island and I liked it alot. I have to show you all something that we saw parked. I just had to go and take a picture of it. We were HYSTERICAL. This is the US version of the Smart Car. It is 8ft long and 5 ft high. Gas mileage is 40miles city/45 miles highway. Tell me this isn't one of the funniest things you have ever seen.
