What a weekend! Saturday I went to go see my sister for the day. Sunday I spent most of the day in bed down with a severe migraine. I think that all the worrying I did was part of why I got it. But luckily by about 10pm last night it was gone.

I have an update about my sister. They put the second stent in on Friday. She is in pain with cramping & pressure. Enough to take 2 percocets every 3hrs. But the one good thing is, the pain in her back (kidney area) is going away, meaning the trapped urine is draining, but the problem is this stent is only a temporary relief. The bad thing is the cramping, the good thing is the draining. BUT, the doctor said that she will definetely need the "step 2" surgery. He could tell when he put this stent in that she will need to be cleaned out and have the obstruction surgically corrected. The thing that stinks is that we thought it would be a laperscopic procedure but it isn't. He will have to go in and cut her...it will be a 6 inch (approx) cut and this isn't a promise of fixing the problem. This is the last step and hopefully it will work because the final step would be removing the kidney and obviously we are trying to avoid that. They are trying to save the kidney. Hopefully this will work.

That was pretty much the weekend for me. Today, work is quiet which is a welcome break. I'm a little worried about my commute home because we are supposed to get severe thunderstorms that include hail of all things somewhere between 3pm and 8pm today...I leave work at 5pm. Ugh!!!
