Yesterday was a jam packed day for sure. My dentist appointment turned into a 2 1/2hr ordeal. My appointment was at 9am and I left there at 11:28am to be exact. Since the hygenist had a cancelation, my dentist thought I'd should fill it, then he worked on me. Now, after seeing a new set of x-rays, I need more work done that you can possibly imagine. Ugh! Anyway, he took care of my pain problem. It was a loose filling in the back that popped off as soon as he touched it with that round scary pick. He had to get out some decay that formed under it because it was loose, then put a new filling on top. Next appoinment 5 weeks.
The podiatrist. He said the toe "looks like it is healing beautifully". Thank God for that. He cleaned it up again, cut all my nails, how cool that was...one thing less I have to do this week. I still have to wrap it during the day and air it out in the night. He will do the "kill the root" thing in two to three months, then I will never have to worry about it again. He may do that to the other big toe also. Seems I have this thing with ingrown big toenails. Next appointment 2 weeks for another follow-up.
Other than that, no new news. Hopefully I may be able to think of a better blogging post. I'm trying to make it through the day without falling asleep at work. I took a sleeping pill last night and I took it rather late so I only had it in my system 6hrs before I woke up. So I feel very tired. In case you were wondering, yes...I had coffee this morning. It helped a little. Now I'm drinking Diet Coke so maybe that will help some too. Yawn. It is almost lunch time so maybe I'll perk up a little once I get away from this desk.

Sleep well tonight, my friend! I've had a tiring day, too. I woke up when the alarm went off; I was still in a very deep sleep then, so that made me groggy all day long.

That is a long time at the dentist. I am thankful that I like mine and know all the people that work there...that is what happens when you babysit for them for years. Yay on the toe healing. I need to cut and paint mine tonight. I can't be going into labor with my toes looking like they do!

Just the word "dentist" makes me cringe!! Woman, you've had enough problems...I am sending positive vibes to you right at this minute and rubbing my rabbit's foot at the same time that you will not have to post anything medically related for like 45 days!!!
P.S. do you remember back in the day when everyone had a rabbits foot hanging from their belt loop? Mine was purple!!!
