Sunday Stealing Plus

My Sunday Stealing is below my ramblings....
Well I survived the wrestling convention. There were about 300 people there and I was about one of four wives. Like I said, what I don't do for him! LOL! It was SO HOT in this venue that you can't even imagine. Now picture approximately 296 men in there sweating bullets. It was horrendous. I wanted to pass out.

Here is a new picture of me. This was taken this morning before we left. I just couldn't post any convention photos because my hair looked soaked in all of them.

You can play HERE

1. Who was your FIRST date?
That would be in the 6th grade with Gary. We went to the park. We also hung out in my sister's backyard. Gary held my hand under her apple tree and kissed me on the cheek. He also asked me to be his girlfriend after he gave me a Smurfette stuffed doll.

2. Do you still talk to your FIRST love?
No, I do not

3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
I remember drinking in an "establishment" underage. I didn't know anything about drinking. I ordered a screwdriver because it was the first thing I could think of.

4. What was your FIRST job?
I worked in a dentist office on Saturdays answering phones, filing, making appts, and cleaning the rooms from when I was 14 to 16. Then from 16 on, I worked part-time at a retail store in the mall after school and on weekends.

5. What was your FIRST car?
A 1978 brown Toyota Corolla which was nicknamed "the Miracle Vehicle". I loved that car despite not having any AC, an AM only radio, no power brakes, no power steering, etc. It got me through ANYTHING. I sold the car with 200K miles on it and heard it ran for years after that.

6. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?
Florida

7. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?
Is Colleen. We met playing hopscotch on the first day of kindergarden. Thirty-two years later, we are still best friends. She's stuck with me.

8. Whose wedding did you attend the FIRST time?
The first wedding I attended, I happened also to be the flower girl. It was my sister Gina's wedding.

9. Tell us about your FIRST roommate.
She was the roommate from hell. I met her through a friend of a friend. My Mom had just passed away and I was 18 at the time. This woman was 28 years old. She just got divorced from her husband. We moved into a really nice 2BR garden apartment. I was working full-time right out of high school. Anyway, turns out that she maxed out all her credit cards, didn't pay her rent, brought home a different guy at least two or three nights a week, and got fired from her job. One day I came home and found her doing drugs on my deceased mother's coffee table. Please keep in mind that my Mom had just passed away maybe 3 months prior...so this is something that was VERY sensitive to me. I know how hard she worked to buy that table. So, in my fury, I went over and took a deep breath and blew "the stuff" on the floor and kicked her the hell out of the apartment that very moment. Luckily the landlord took mercy on my soul and broke our lease because she never paid the rent. They were only receiving my half of the rent checks. And who was the adult here?

10. If you had one wish, what would it be (other than more wishes)?
That I could bring my Mom back.

11. What is something you would learn if you had the chance?
Either how to speak Italian or how to play an instrument.

12. Did you marry the FIRST person you were in love with?
No

13. What were the first lessons you ever took and why?
Karate lessons when I was 10. I loved going. Only trouble was I kicked the teacher right in his uhhhh private area once when he wanted me to break something with my foot. I almost did break something. Yikes! --- Why did I take the lessons you ask? Because I wanted to. ;)

14. What is the first thing you do when you get home?
Feed Harley

Number 3 cracked me up. Number 5, I totally get, of course.

The roommate story is terrible that you had to live through it, but what an interesting story. Yes, you were the adult, for sure.

Seems like screwdriver was a popular choice with the underaged.
