Saturday 9: Your Smiling Face

1. No matter what's going on in your life, what always makes you smile?
My cat HARLEY !

2. What's the biggest lie you've ever told?
Now why would I post that here? Duh!

3. Do you hold a grudge?
Sometimes, depends on the situation.

4. What is the worst job you've ever had?
Working part-time at a video store. I worked there after my full-time job back in the early 90s. I was wiped out from working all day. PLUS, this video store was a chain that happened to also have an "adult" section in a separate room. I used to HATE to return the videos there. The room would have a weird smell. I don't even want to think about why. Blech!

5. What would be your dream job?
Well I first need to get my feet wet as a medical assistant. I would eventually like to become either a Surgical Counselor or an LPN.

6. What is the happiest event you've experienced?
Marrying my husband. Getting Harley when he was a little kitten at 5 weeks old. (Not necessarily in this order...LMAO!)

7. What is the saddest thing you've experienced?
My mother's death

8. Do you tend to exaggerate or underestimate?
I sometimes exaggerate when I get mad and blow things out of proportion.

9. List the cars that you have owned. Give us just a few words about each one.
1st car ~ 1978 Toyota Corolla ~ Miracle Vehicle. Got through anything! It was my Mom's car. When she passed in 1991, I received it. Loved that car. It had no power steering, no power brakes, no air conditioning, and an AM-only radio. Still loved it.
2nd car ~ 1986 Chevy Celebrity Wagon ~ Hand me down from my sister.
3rd car ~ don't remember year..Eagle Summit ~ Loved that car. Another hand me down.
4th car ~ don't remember year..Mercury Cougar ~ Fast and furious. First car I bought myself. It was used.
5th car ~ don't remember year..Ford Escort ~ bought it used. It was OK. Engine light kept going on.
6th car ~ 2002 Toyota Corolla CE - Reliable!! Miss that car!
7th car ~ 2007 Toyota Corolla LE - Scary. Even though it isn't part of the recall, I still think I'm going to take off at any given time. Can't wait till I can trade it in.

Right now I own 2 1990 chevy suburbans. Each a bit different but it drives our insurance company battie when we change from the summer sub to the winter one. Here in Minnesota they use salt, lots and lots of it in the winter time so my winter sub has lots of rust on it, the summer one none and the on my son drives we call marshmellow, it's really dead. All have over 200,000 miles but keep on ticking.

My happiest, have my mircle baby but first marrying Jim. 30 years this April.

Worse job, working for a grabby, nasty insurance man that thought he could come to my house and pick me up whenever he wanted to. YUCK!!!

What makes me smile no matter what, when Jim looks me in the eyes and smiles, or Mike hugs me before going to school and a biggy, Mike's phone calls before and after school just checking in. He's 18 and still calls his mama. I love it!!

Had to share Jodi. Take care, go to bed and sleep a good night sleep. Chat with you later on.

Have a blessed Sunday!!

I used to own a chain of video stores. I was helping at the counter once when I noticed a guy had spent over a half hour in the adult room. I was getting concerned when he came out. When i asked for an ID I realized he was the starting goalie for the Hartford Whalers. He turned out to be a great guy...
