Lost - Episode 4.07 - Ji Yeon
Lost - Episode 4.07 - Ji Yeon
Well, I suppose my putting "Spoiler Alert" is old news now - LOL! I honestly have to say that I did not expect David to go home last night during the elimination show last evening. I honestly thought Kristy Lee Cook was going to go home. But when David was called to the bottom 3 & he was like "just because I'm in the bottom 3 doesn't mean I'm going home tonight". He was all cocky when he said it. So, I am now glad it was him. I honestly had nothing against Kristy Lee, it is just the last 2 weeks I didn't care for her performances. I was also upset that I was subjected to hearing her sing, thanks to Simon. "the Dolly Parton on helium" version of The Beatles - "Eight Days A Week". That is one of my favorites of them too. Well, I will get past it. LOL! Maybe it is the whole "scandal" with David that stopped people from voting for him. Who knows? But one thing I do know is .... my guys David Cook & Michael Johns are still there! Woo-Hoo!!! We shall see what next week brings.

Now onto Lost. Again, please note that there are MAJOR spoilers in this paragraph & if you haven't seen the episode yet, please do not continue to read. Ok, now that I warned ya...Onto my thoughts of the show tonight. Can I just say - "Oh My God!!" I was SO confused in the beginning. I thought that since the scene where Sun is off the island & shows she was back in Korea that it was a flash-back. But indeed it was a flash-forward meaning - Sun is one of the Oceanic 6!! I was SO happy *and* she had a pregnant belly meaning she made it off the island & the baby is OK too! But where was Jin? We see that Sun is going into labor & was having problems. Then we see Jin running around town trying to find a panda stuffed animal & he is adament about getting this stuffed animal. Little did we know that Jin's story was a flashback..not a flash-forward like Sun's. I was SO shocked because I was adding up in my head the Oceanic 6 because they said that we will know everyone that is part of the Oceanic 6. So I was thinking 1) Hurley 2) Kate 3) Jack 4) Sayid 5) Sun and Yay!! 6) Jin. But WRONG! Jin is dead!!! When Hurley came to see Sun I thought it was for seeing little Ji Yeon, the baby she gave birth to. But it was to see the baby & go to Jin's grave! I was SO upset because I just think Jin totally redeemed himself & was now the perfect husband for Sun. So who is the 6th member...we know little Aaron survives...does he count as #6 because he was born on the island & in Claire's womb when the plane crashed? So if that is the case we then know who the Oceanic 6 are. All I know is this, I don't want Jin to die! I didn't want Charlie to die! I'm SO confused. I do know one other thing though...we were all right who suspected Michael to be the spy on the freighter. Um, I mean "Kevin Johnson". I want to know what Ben did that makes him so wanted by Charles Widemore. I want to know what he does to influence such strong characters like Locke (last episode letting him "go") and Sayid (flashback of him working for him) to trust him. By the way, I am not including Ben in the Oceanic 6 list since he was already on the island. There are so many questions. All I know is this, the writers are incredible. I don't want for this show to ever end!!

You are nice to put up spoiler alerts. I prefer to SCREAM the episode wrap up in the title of my post! ha. Thanks for straightening out the karma thing to me. I was still thinking that Jin couldn't understand enough English to get what Bernard was rambling about. I guess he could. That's why they wrote into the script, "I understand it [English] better than I speak." As soon as Hurley went to see Sun, the whole thing came to me in an instant because Hurley was in a suit. That means wedding or funeral, and on this show, you apparently have a lot better chance of dying than finding your true love!
I loved last night's Lost! I just wonder if Jin is really dead...maybe he's still on the Island and the tomb was a memorial?
*For Linda*
You are welcome! I totally agree about that people have a better chance dying on that show! I had a bad feeling when I saw Hurley in Korea in a suit. I figured he would come visit Sun..want to see the baby, but when I saw him in a suit..I was like - "oh No!!!!"
*For oh Amanda*
I think maybe it could be a memorial because if he died on the island, how could they get his body back if they leave so many behind (unless they all die..which I'm hoping isn't the case). Plus time-wise it said 2004 on his grave-marker. It makes sense that he dies in the next few episodes & we have two reasons why. We learned that it was December 24th, 2004. So he dies somewhere in the next 7 island days. Also, when he said to Sun that he would never leave her...that is a prelude to - he's next! Ugh!! I really like him. I will miss him & I really miss Charlie.
