First, I want to thank everyone that has left comments & sent their thoughts & prayers to me via email, comments here or comments to Sue (Coffee Slut). You all cannot even imagine how much it means to me that you took the time to do that and that you are concerned. Know I adore all of you SO very much.
I will give you all the Cliff Notes version and write a better post tomorrow. Right now my body is so exhausted I'm going to go off to bed very soon. I cannot believe 6 days of my life were spent in a hospital for an infection. Thank God it wasn't as bad as some other cases. There were a number of people on my floor at the hospital that had it. I heard of it, but never knew how serious it was. If I didn't go when I did, it would have spread up my whole leg. When I entered the ER, it was up my calf, when I got in my bed in my admitted room, it reached my knee. It spreads rapidly. If people don't get it taken care of, they can develop sores and blisters on top of that infection. Thank God I did not get that. My only question is how does someone let it get to that point? I was in agony with what I had, I can't even imagine.
I promise a better post tomorrow. I have some funny stories about the hospital to share. Let's just say I had to keep my sense of humor while I was there!
Right now, I'm home safe and sound and almost recovered. I have to take antibiotics for 10 more days. Anything is better than being there. I am off of work until Monday the 19th.
I will read and comment on my regular blogs tomorrow. Please know I will try and catch up as fast as I can. I've missed you guys SO MUCH you can't even imagine. Until it is taken away, you don't realize how much you
PS..I guess I really screwed up Blog 365 and NaBloPoMo huh?

Yay!!! I'm so glad you're home!
Welcome back my friend! Don't get a blogging overdose:)
Yea you blew the 365, but you had a good excuse for it, so we'll let it slide! :) I am glad you are back home safe and sound. That is insane how fast it spreads and I am just super happy you went in when you did. Get some rest and don't over do. Enjoy the time before going back to work!
So glad you're home, it's fantastic that you're on the mend. You know, I think it was Murphy's Law that when you decided you were gonna do 365 & NaBloPoMo that you were gonna get monstrously sick.
Get your blogging fix in, quick, quick!!
so glad you're back!! I hope they gave you lots of diet coke in there!!
Girl, I'm so glad you're home and on the mend!
I can't tell you how happy I was to see that you are home!! I'm so sorry that you had to spend 6 days in the hospital. That infection sounds so very SCARY!!!!
HOORAY she's back! Thank all gods you got better... that is a serious infection.
I have seen cellulitis with the clients I've had who shoot heroin into their legs and it's absolutely disgusting and sad to see someone get to that point and not even care that they're infected!
Get back into the pool now and restart that blog 365 kid, no excuses! lol :)
