I really am at a loss for words right now. I cannot in my life understand after the brilliant performances of both Syesha & Carly that both were in the bottom 2??? It is clear to me that this has now become a popularity contest instead of a talent competition. Again, this is just my opinion. Tonight we say goodbye to Carly Smithson who last night sang her heart out to "Jesus Christ Superstar". I also can say this, Carly handled it so well and was so appreciative of the chance that she was given. I'm sure she will have a wonderful career after the tour is over.
Next week, the celebrity guest mentor is Neil Diamond. I think since it is the Top 5 that they will be doing 2 songs a piece? I could be wrong though. Obviously after tonight, I can be wrong about alot of things. LOL!

I just wanted to tell you John Paul was the best Pope ever!!
and I was glad to see on your blog that the Pope went to vist with the famlies of 9-11 and and bless the site. That was meaningful.
I would talk about american Idol but I always miss it but it sounds like I am missing something good.
and I like what you had to say on linda's blog about blogging agree with you. marina
I was shocked and disappointed, too. EsPECIally after last night when I thought both of them (Syesha and Carly) were clearly at the top of their games.
I have a lot of respect for the way she handled it, though, with grace and class. I'm not worried about her. I think she's on her way to a great career in music.
Since you asked -- the place we sent my iPod to said they couldn't fix it, so now we're back to trying to get a new hard drive for it and letting Hubby have a go. bluh.
LOST TOMORROW!
Wow what a pic of Carly. You know, I never was a fan, but I'll say this: I saw her on a morning show Thursday morning, and she was completely gracious. After people get voted off, I develop soft spots for them. The other day i saw a pic of Chikezie and thought, "Aww." Yeah, I think it's now all about a strong fan-base, which is a euphemism for popularity contest.
