So I'm finally thinking of jumping on the bandwagon & purchasing an iPod. I think I am going to go with the Apple Classic 160GB. Does anyone have this or another Apple iPod? I would love to hear your opinion of it. I was going to go with the Nano but then I said, for $100 more I can get the "music monster" so I can add videos, etc. I would love to hear about if anyone has the Nano too. I'm torn between the two. I am leaning more towards the Classic. However, I think I am going to purchase a regular over the head set of headphones. I tried my friend's iPod at work & the ear buds kept slipping out of my ears and I was not moving. LOL! I either need an over the ear bud or a regular set of headphones. I think the one I was researching was the Sennheiser 100. Any suggestions or comments are welcomed & appreciated. I am an iPod virgin. LOL!

Wow -- that's a lot of iPod! Mine is a 30g video -- I think it's called 5th generation. It seems more than adequate because I started out with a 4g mini. I bought a refurbished one, because it was a lot cheaper, and it has been a wonderful, constant companion for a year and a half now. I wonder if it got dropped, because everything I read says that that sometimes precedes the "sad face" icon I got that indicated massive hard drive failure. Of course all my kids deny dropping it, so who knows. Anyway, I think if you got a smaller iPod to start out with you'd be completely happy. You could always upgrade in a year or two once you were in the iPod groove.
I don't know what to tell you about the ear bud issue. I have a nicer kind than the ones that came with my iPod, but I can't tell you what brand they are. They're pink -- if that helps. I haven't used headphones.
OK -- this is probably more than you ever wanted to know! Sorry for such a long comment! If you have more questions and want to e-mail me with specifics, I'll be happy to answer more.
