How adorable are these two? This is a picture of Josh Holloway & Jorge Garcia who play Sawyer & Hurley on LOST.Tonight after another month long hiatus due to the writer's strike, LOST premiered it's 9th episode of the 4th Season. The only part of the episode I liked was that it portrayed the friendship between Hurley & Sawyer. Hurley was taking care of baby Aaron & Sawyer was trying to help Claire. The way Hurley was concerned about Sawyer getting into the barricaded "other's" house. Later on Sawyer wanted Hurley to go back with him, Aaron & Claire to "Jack's camp". I love how he threatened Locke "If you hurt one hair on his curly head..so help me God..." Sawyer needed a friend besides Kate. We all know how that ended up. LOL! Now that Charlie died, Hurley needed a friend too. So I think this "pairing" is adorable & funny & sweet at the same time.
As for the rest of the episode. It was OK. I wasn't thrilled with it. I don't like how they killed off Alex in front of Ben. More questions come up, more answers not answered. The whole Ben/Charles Widmore conversation in his suite was bizarre. The whole meet-up between future Sayid & Ben in Tunisia. The reveal that Sayid finds Nadia & marries her, but she winds up getting killed. It is like hearing the punchline before even hearing the joke. It is hard to explain, but you LOST fans will know what I'm talking about. Just weird.

I liked this episode, except for killing Alex. I thought that was absolutely horrible. I didn't want my 15 year-old to even watch it, but she's completely hooked on LOST and says the violence doesn't disturb her the way it does me. She says she's aware that they're acting all the time. She said Alex's pleading was more disturbing than the actual shot. I thought it was all sickening, although the guy who plays Ben is a superb actor. Anyway, what do you think Ben meant when he said to Charles, "You know I can't kill you." What did Charles mean when he said, "I know who you are." And what about the black monster and "changing the rules." Is this an anti-Christ thing? Is Charles actually Jacob, since he said the island belonged to him?? AARGH!
