Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you are enjoying today. We didn't get any trick-or-treaters in our office. When we used to be a storefront we got one or two. Now with being on the second floor we don't have any. I don't think I will have to worry about them at home either, no one ever rings the bell.

My friend Joyce works across the hall from me (nail salon). She came dressed up as a police officer. She had the full gear on (except the gun of course). It was hysterical. We had masks here of Obama, McCain & Hillary Clinton as a joke because all everyone ever talks about it the election. My boss made me wear Hillary because I'm a girl. I thought at first he was getting the face masks with an elastic band that would go around your head. It is a full head mask. I have to tell you that the mask was so hot. It was made out of rubber. I was having a good hair day too. But that all got shot to hell. LOL! I now look like I got caught in a rainstorm then it dried flat to my head. I'll tell you another thing. Those masks are not good for people like me who have asthma. I had to keep lifting the mask over my mouth so I wouldn't suffocate could breathe easier. We only put it on when a few of Joyce's clients came in that we knew well. Too funny, especially watching the people's reactions to it. No one expects someone to be wearing them. They look like political caricatures.

Let's see, updates. Jenny is feeling a little better than yesterday which was a really bad day for her. She is really leaning towards finally going to a specialist. I certainly hope she does. Chester the chocolate lab is a bit cranky but he is doing well. He is starting to try to lick and bite his surgery area. Good thing the doctor has him wrapped up real good. If it gets bad she will turn him into conehead, but she is trying to avoid doing that. He listens to her when she tells him to stop. So that is good.

Otherwise all is calm and serene this last day of October. I hope all is well with you guys. Almost time to go home and go through the obstacle course of trick-or-treaters. Happy Friday everyone :)

Too funny about the costumes. Did you take pictures? You should have known I would ask you that. LOL.

I usually have a ton of kids knocking at the door. Haven't had anyone yet.
