Saturday 9: Let's Get Ready To Rumble

Here is the link to play along

1. When was the last time you lost your temper with someone?
I sort of lost my temper with my best friend Colleen over 12yrs ago over something SO stupid.

2. What was it about?
It was a minor funny argument..(actually it was hysterical). She threw me & my hubby an engagement party over 12yrs ago. We had to pick up a 5 foot sandwich that was too big to fit in the trunk of her car. Her back seat had stuff on it. We had this HUGE sandwich on a piece of wood that we had to leave a $10 deposit for in case it were to break. Let's just say we argued for about 10 minutes in front of a parking lot of people as we tried to manuever this sandwich into her trunk. We were bending the wood and we were afraid it was going to snap. We then started to argue about why we got such a big sandwich and how we took the wrong car to pick it up. Keep in mind people were starting to watch us as we were holding this five foot sandwich and arguing.

3. Were you totally right or totally wrong?
I was so totally right. (I ♥ you Coll)

4. If wrong, how long until you realized it? If right, how long until the other person realized it?
She knew it almost immediately. LOL

5. Did you go a lengthy of time without speaking?
Oh, no we definitely spoke, we threatened to shove the sandwich up each other's asses.

6. Who made the first move?
The sandwich - LOL!

7. Do you feel the situation is resolved now?
It was resolved as soon as we finally fit it in the trunk. It was HYSTERICAL because as memory serves me right, she shut the trunk door and we were like "Thank God!" and we got in the car like nothing happened.

8. Do you ever give in, knowing you weren’t wrong, to keep the peace?
Sometimes, depends on the situation.

9. Was there permanent damage even though you’ve made up?
We totally forgot about it as soon as she shut the trunk. We never EVER argue. That was the only "argument" in 31yrs of us being best friends (since kindergarten). If that was the worst thing that ever happened to us, I am very thankful. By the way, the sandwich wound up being delicious and we had a great laugh over it.

Now it is my turn. A Jodi zen moment: "Oh, no we definitely spoke, we threatened to shove the sandwich up each other's asses."

It's a good thing you didn't. They might not have tasted that good...

SW - It really was very funny now thinking back to it.

Nurseexec - It was priceless. Now I look back and laugh.

Debbie - If I could at that moment I would have. LOL

Bud - You are right, it wouldn't have tasted very good. Plus it would have ruined everyone's eventual dinner.

Sue - Yes, they even make 6 ft sandwiches. I can't even begin to tell you how much was left over. We weren't thinking when we ordered it. We weren't thinking when we went to pick it up either. LOL. I'm having a great weekend so far, just have had a migraine for a greater part of the day and it won't go away :( I hope you are having a great weekend!!!

Who was totally right about the big sandwich??? Umm...ME!!!

However, she is correct about the sandwich making the first move. The sandwich started it. That thing had an attitude from the moment we first picked it up in the store.

*Ma, the blog said I have an account but I have no clue. That is why I went anonymous

I ONLY LOVE YOU!!!
