Happy Wednesday

I can't believe the week is almost over. It is going by so fast. I have to say I felt so weird today. Most of the day I felt completely under the weather. Before lunch, I ordered some chicken noodle soup and when I got it, I microwaved it to make it piping hot. After drinking the broth and downing 3 Advils I felt alot better. I had my nails done during my lunch hour. I was this close to getting a red-violet color. I chickened out and got one of my dark colors. It is brown & looks like melted Hershey's chocolate. The name of the color is hysterical. It is called "Suzi Says Da!". It is part of the O.P.I. Russian collection. In my next life I want to come back as the person who names nailpolish colors.

Well I have made a decision. I am entering one of my poems and one of my short stories into 2 writing competitions. I am excited about it. I figure I got nothing to lose. Ok, except for the competition.

Tonight we started a movie - "27 Dresses". We are halfway through. I haven't made up my mind whether I like it or not yet. The other day we saw "Baby Mama". I liked it but felt that the funniest moments were on the coming attractions. It had a different kind of twist. The two actresses work great together though. I never watched SNL before Tina did Sarah Palin so I didn't know these two ladies. I still enjoyed it.

That is pretty much the update from my end. I hope you all enjoyed your day. I am so looking forward to the weekend. I will leave you with some Harley cuteness. Now that it is getting colder, he loves to lay in his nest bed or in bed with hubby & I. This is him in his nest. They call it a nest because it resembles a bird's nest in shape. Note the baseboard heating behind him. He is one smart cat!
