1. Do you enjoy receiving or giving presents more?
I like giving because I want to see the expression on the person's face to see if they like what i picked out.
2. What is you favorite holiday film?
"Elf" and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"
3. Have you started or finished your gift shopping?
I'm almost done. I still have to get a Hess truck and few small gifts. Other than that, all the major stuff is done.
4. What does this time of year mean to you?
To be honest, it is a sad time for me because my Mom loved Christmas and sadly this will be my 17th Christmas without her.
5. What is your favorite holiday song?
Different categories for me....1) Favorite Elvis Song - "Blue Christmas" 2) Favorite Fun Song - "Dominick the Donkey" 3) Favorite classic - "Holly Jolly Christmas" and 4) Favorite Serious song - "O Holy Night" Josh Groban's version.
Voted Most Likely To Cause Losing An Entire Box Of Kleenex - "Christmas Shoes".
6. What do you love about the holiday season?
Getting together with family and friends.
7. What do you hate about the holiday season?
How commercialized it is, how people become savages in discount stores. For example, that poor employee of WalMart in NY that died because he was trampled on in the morning of Black Friday. I also hate the political correctness of it. To me they are taking Christ out of Christmas.
8. Do religious ceremonies play a part in your holiday traditions? If yes, how?
I go to Mass but besides normal Mass I don't go to any other religious ceremony.
9. Who will you spend the holidays with?
Christmas Eve we go up to my in-laws. On Christmas my hubby and I spend the day alone together.

I agree with your answer to #7. It's more about gifts than it is about Jesus.
Rudolf is a great one, you're right!
I like the movie Elf as well.
Blue Christmas is great. I love it too.
Christmas shoes- i am so tired of hearing tht song. how depressing is that!!!
I sooo dislike the comercialization also! I forgot to add that one to my list!
Commercialization sucks! It's so ridiculous. No wonder today's kids know nothing but presents.
That's great! How did you know I wanted a Hess truck? ;)
This is my 17th Christmas without my mom also :(
I love Blue Christmas too...all year long

Great answers. I may try this one. I'm sorry about your mom. Your deep love for her comes out here every once in a while, and I think that's a good thing.
It's my 13th without my mom ...so very hard to be merry.
Thank you EVERYONE for your comments!!
