Two Out Of Four Ain't Bad

Thanks Meat Loaf - "Two Out Of Three Four Ain't Bad". Ok, I feel like half the weight is taken off of my shoulders. I just finished two out of the now four assignments I had for my class. Phew! The two that I finished are due this Wednesday. The other two are due the following Wednesday. My goal is to finish those two this week because I will get another assignment on Wednesday and another on Friday. (We have two week windows to turn in our assignments). I will also get a final exam this Friday as well. Hey Bud & Debbie - I may need you to pass me the Smirnoff.

Tonight was the only time there was quiet in this apartment. I'm one of those writers that needs total silence to write in. It is funny because I can write in a Starbucks with the place packed, but at home I need total silence. I think maybe because home distractions are different. Harley is sleeping all curled up in a ball on our bed. My husband is "resting his eyes" again on the couch. The TV and radio are off. All is right in the writing world.

I spoke with our friend Sue (Coffee Slut). Her electricity finally came on this afternoon. She was withoug electricity for 3 days! She said she was going to try to put a post up. She is upset that she "blew NaBloPoMo". It is OK, I think that NaBloPoMo should give her a pass because it was no fault of her own. Mother Nature wasn't on her side. I'm just SO happy that she got her electric back and she will have heat in her house and electricity! So, in keeping with the NaBloPoMo theme. Today I am thankful for Sue's electricity coming back on. I've been so worried about her & her hubby, pets and MIL.

Thank you again for all your prayers! It was a rough 60 hours, but I can feel my toes again! I think I want a generator for Christmas!
Have a safe commute and a wonderful Monday!

Thanks for keeping us posted. And thank God her electricity is back.

Man... I didn't realize how behind I am on posting comments. Sorry about that! I read your blog the first thing in the morning. But think I'll comment later. And then the day just flies by.

Take care my friend!
