Today is also my first day back at work. I have to say, it is so weird being back. It actually felt like I never left. I just picked back up where I left off. I guess that is a good thing.
Tonight into tomorrow we are going to get some "change-over" weather. We may have ice or sleet or icy rain or snow? I feel like we a playing a card game "pick a weather pattern, any weather pattern." Anything to keep us guessing. Whatever the case may be, I'm sure I will be "white-knuckling" it all the way home.
I must show you all a present my in-laws got me for Christmas. It is the best invention since the wheel. Seriously folks. It is for serious coffee drinkers who don't mind not having a full pot of coffee. It is a single cup coffee maker. It is the Keurig B70 Platinum Elite coffee maker. On the left where is appears to be a blueish tinge. That is the water reservoir. It holds up to 60 ounces of water. You can choose the size cup you want. They have 4 settings - 5 1/2 oz, 7 1/2oz, 9 1/2 oz or a travel mug size 11 1/2oz. They even have an iced coffee setting. (I hear an echo...Hallelujah) See the metal bar, that lifts up, and you insert a "K-cup" which is an airtight cup that holds whatever flavor of coffee, tea, and hot cocoa anyone could want. There are 200 varieties!!! (You could see a few pictured on the right side) The most popular brand names are Green Mountain Coffee, Timothy's, Gloria Jean's, Newman's Own, Bellachino, Caribou, Tully's, and Diedrich. (To name a few off the top of my head) Did I mention that I'm in love with this machine? Just in case you were wondering. Does anyone have one or know someone that has one?Image credit: Talkaboutcoffee.com

So glad to hear that you are feeling a little better. I hope you get more sleep tonight:)
I hope that your weather held out until you got home. I hate ice!! I drive like a little grandma when it gets bad out. Now, I'm seriously fuming with jealousy after seeing that beautiful coffee maker you got!! It looks glorious. Think of me when you have your next cup!!
I love your blog and I would like to pass on The Butterfly Award to you. Please check out my blog for your award

Staci - It kinda did..thank you so much for your concern..you are so sweet. It actually was some freezing rain, but the temperature is supposed to drop over night and rain. I am SO concerned about icing. I'd rather drive in snow than ice. Ugh!
I did think of you when I had my cup of coffee tonight. It came from a variety pack I made up through www.bigcatcoffees.com . Tonight you virtually had Green Mountain Coffee's "Our Blend". It was yummy. You should put the coffee maker on your wishlist for your birthday. It is worth it.

Brenda - the coffee maker is wonderful. I love it. Thank you about being back to work again. I really am so thankful. I feel so bad for people who are struggling with losing their jobs. It is a terrible thing.
Glad to hear you're feeling better.
P.S. Freakin' SWEET coffee machine!
Oh, the Keurig!!! You're the third person in a week whom I have heard sing its praises! I entered the contest over at SITS...I hope I win! I WANT ONE!!!!
