I'm running late because I was obsessed with watching 'Pope coverage'. I'm kind of mad at myself because he is so close to me and I didn't make any attempt to go to NYC to at least stand on the streets and watch him pass by. But knowing he is near is pretty cool. Little does my sister know I'll probably have her leave the TV on because I really want to see him offer Mass at Yankee Stadium.
Well everyone, enjoy your Sunday!!!

This is the Pope praying at Ground Zero in NYC this morning where he also blessed the area which made it a sacred place. He also met with victims families who perished on 9/11.

The picture on the left is the Pope offering Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral yesterday.

Did I mention that my husband grew up Catholic? He was an altar boy, went to Catholic school, taught CCD classes, etc. So we have an affinity for Catholicism. He misses some of the observances that Protestants have neglected. I am so glad we've met, and I appreciated your comments on my post about blog answers today. That meant a lot to me. I have missed hearing from you. I know I need to do the meme you tagged me for! I'm terrible about getting around to those. Can't wait for tomorrow night!
