NaBloPoMo - September Day 16 PLUS

Yesterday was such a busy day at work! I'm glad that business is picking up don't get me wrong, but it has been very busy. Busy enough where I get nervous thinking I forgot to do something. I have lists upon lists on my desk. I have a ticketing queue that kept increasing instead of decreasing yesterday. At one point I had some call backs, a few reservation requests in my email inbox & the phone was ringing off the hook. I wanted to scream but maintained my cool. When 5pm hit, my rear was out the door faster than you can say Continental. LOL!

The weekend was nice. As you saw in an earlier post, on Saturday I went to that book signing. On Sunday I was supposed to go see my sisters but then around 11am came around & I called my one sister and she heard me yawning & told me to just rest. She felt bad that I had a long & hard week at work & told me to just stay home and get some rest. She was only planning to stay an hour or two at our other sister's house so instead of hiking it all the way to her house to only turn around again in an hour to just chill at home. I actually took her up on the offer. I figured we just got tattooed together last weekend, that we can see each other this coming weekend. She wasn't feeling great so she didn't know how long she was going to stay. I guess I made the right decision because she stayed about 90 minutes.

Speaking of tattoos, mine FINALLY stopped itching. If anyone has any tattoos (Sue & Debbie), they can attest to the fact that a few days after you get one it itches like crazy. You are not supposed to scratch it, but I said the hell with it. This time I just had to. The thing is, this one is on my wrist which constantly touches my wrist pad on my computer at work and the actual laptop on my home computer. So...it was being 'aggravated' so to speak. Today was the first day it wasn't so bad.

Well, I do have a bit of news. Nothing huge. I signed up to take a creative writing class. I figured I want to finally get my novel/novella going so I wanted to "freshen up" some. It is two days a week for 8 weeks. Not too bad. Hopefully I will like it. Well, here is hoping since I'm already within the refund policy. LOL! I start tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes. Hopefully I can have my teacher review Chapter 1 of the book I started to see if it has any future potential. We shall see.
