Saturday 9: Out to Lunch (or Dinner)

1. When you go to a restaurant, do you usually order the same thing?

Yes, either of 1 or 2 dishes. For instance, at the Mom & Pop Italian restaurant we go to I will order either angel hair pasta with meat sauce or chicken parmigiana. At Chilis I will have either their mushroom jack chicken fajitas or a cheeseburger. I usually have 2 "normals" for each place.

2. What is your favorite fish dish?

Shrimp Scampi - Y U M M Y

3. What is your favorite meat dish?

I eat everything well done to the point of being burnt. I just like it that way. (Thank God so does my husband because one of us would get something wrong at a restaurant). So meat dishes that I like are cheeseburgers or chicken fajitas. I would love to say steak, but no one ever cooks it right so I wind up getting a chopped steak which to me is a glorified burger.

4. What is you favorite vegetable?

I am a fan of corn, string beans, and broccoli.

5. How often to you eat out?

Too often. Nah, physically go to a place once or twice a week. Take out is another thing that is like 3 times a week at least. With my commute I don't get home some nights until after 7pm and it is the easiest thing for us to do because I'm normally wiped out by the time I get home.

6. Do you usual order dessert? If yes, what?

Not usually. But if we do it is from the Italian place and we get a cannoli.

7. Do you like a particular after dinner drink?

Coffee

8. How far would you drive to go to a favorite restaurant?

That is easy....35 miles exactly...to the Cracker Barrel. We like it there because the food is good, the prices are reasonable and love the store.

9. Do you like to dine with just one person or a group?

Usually with just my husband. On the weekends I will "do lunch" with my sister or with my best friend. Sometimes we go out as a group of 6 but that is normally once every 3 months or so.

Quick update: Sorry to "post and run". I am off to go get ready to go with my sister for our tattoos. We are both getting our 4th ones. I will comment on my "regular" blogs & post the pictures of the tats tonight - all pending Tropical Storm Hanna doesn't make us lose power. You all know I don't do well without power. I could NEVER be Amish! lol!
