I can't believe today went so fast. It was so busy at work. I had to ticket a group reservation. Thank God it was an easy domestic one, but still there is so much paperwork and email involved. I think I may have lost track of time somewhere. I feel like I've been living on a cloud since Friday. I think I may have gotten 5 or 6 hours sleep in the past 3 nights. So if my post doesn't make sense, please forgive me. I may be blogging in my sleep. Hehehe.
Thank God Harley is doing better but he is still very tired from his anesthesia. He is sleeping ALOT. I think it is the fact that he is 15yrs old and had a double dose of anesthesia. He was out for over 2hrs, plus they had a tube down his throat for that amount of time and he had something clipped to his tongue to monitor his oxygen levels. I think it was just a traumatic experience for him. On top of the procedure, they shaved him butt naked. I think he is just very cold and embarrassed about his haircut. It had to be done though. I felt so bad today because it was in the early 20s here. I kept the heat on full blast.
Remember when I told you a few weeks ago that a woman was stuck in Greece because of a family emergency. I didn't even issue the ticket! Anyway, I worked on helping her for two days. Turns out she took my original itinerary we had already booked and all the work, phone calls to/from Greece and emails were in vain. Actually, I was quite happy she went with the original itinerary because what she really wanted to do would have cost thousands...literally. I digress. Today, the UPS man bought a small package to my desk. It turns out she sent me this gift box of gourmet caramels from Good Karmal. I thought it was so nice and so unexpected. She had a really nice gift message attached too. Very sweet..no pun intended.
I'm actually going to sign off now & go and bring Harley into the warmer bedroom so he doesn't freeze his skin off. He is not used to nudity. What a little cutie! Don't you just love the feel of him without his fur? Einstein used to snuggle with me after his yearly lion cuts and I just loved the way he felt.

Sue - He is almost there. Last night he actually sat up like that for 1/2 hour. He has been sleeping NONSTOP since Friday. He gets up to eat and just keeps sleeping. I spoke with the doctor and he said that is OK as long as you see improvements everyday and I do. Thank God. Harley told me to tell you to tell Maggie that he is almost ready for their date. He just needs to gather some more energy. Hehehehe. He will treat her to a good time. LOL! I hope that you had a nice day & enjoyed getting that $. You go girl! Too cool. Talk to you later my friend. I keep kissing him and it is weird because I'm not used to kissing skin. It was always fur. LOL! He is trying to get over his embarrassment. He doesn't like to be nude - especially in December.

Debbie - He is freezing his little ass off. Poor baby.
Amber - Yes he does look vulnerable. Thank you for the offer to make him a coat, but he won't wear it unfortunately. I tried....believe me..He wriggles himself out of it. He doesn't like anything covering him but his fur. I tried to just cover him with a blanket and he stands up and stretches to make it fall off him. Stubborn I tell you!

Tab - It was so unexpected too. I couldn't believe it when the man handed me the package. I couldn't imagine who it was from. It was a very nice gesture. You are right, I will remember it for a long time because when people do little stuff like that it goes such a long way. :)
