Tattoo #2 - Portrait of Elvis Presley w/his signature
Placement - On my upper left arm
I got this tattoo back in October of 2007. I have been a fan of Elvis' since I was 4yrs old. He has been my favorite singer all of my life. When everyone sees me they know me as the Elvis fan. When I see people that haven't seen me, one of the first things they ask is "do you still like Elvis?". I guess that this pretty much answers that question huh? LOL! Thankyouverymuch.
Tattoo #3 - "Mia Sorella" & a butterfly
Placement - The back bottom part of my neck
I got this tattoo in May of 2008. My sister & I are very close. She has been sick with a kidney problem for almost the past year as my regular readers know. We wanted to get something to symbolize our 'sisterhood' & our close friendship. Mia Sorella means My Sister in Italian. Since our family is Italian (we are 3rd generation), we thought it would be nice. I added the butterfly because I love them and purple & black are my favorite colors. My sister will have the Mia Sorella on her wrist & wear hers with a design in black & grey going around her wrist like a bracelet with a nameplate. She is getting hers done later this month.

Yay! You indulged us! OK, I love the feeling behind mia sorella. But the Elvis one looks a lot better than many renderings I have seen. Does you husband like these? What about the one you had done before him?? I supposed if I were going to get one, it would include the initials KJK for my kids somehow. Random question: I see in your profile that you listed a book by Jack Klugman as a fav, and now I see The Odd Couple in the sidebar. What's up with Jack Klugman??
Thanks about the Mia Sorella & Elvis. He is OK about the one I had done before him. Most people that see it don't even notice the dagger so it really doesn't let on it is about a broken relationship prior to him. My hubby has one also, it is two hearts, with our names in it. Isn't he romantic?? LOL! He actually does like them. Or so he says. He really likes the butterfly. People ask him how he feels about the Elvis one, basically about my having another man on my body and his reply is "I don't care, he's dead". Ok then. LOL! I think the KJK would be nice if you ever decide to get one. I know alot of people get them on the inside of their left upper arm so it rests close to the heart.
Jack Klugman. Well, The Odd Couple is one of my all time favorite shows. My Mom who past away loved that show too. So being a big fan of the show, I love Jack & Tony. I am reading the book that Jack wrote regarding his friendship with Tony called "Tony & Me". I can't get enough of the two of them.

Beautiful! I have 5 (so far) and I will post photos of them in the near future. Only 1 of mine can be seen if I wear shorts or a dress/skirt (on my ankle ) ...the rest are hidden. hehehe

Sue - I'm looking forward to seeing the pics. Mine really are hidden too. I'm not a shorts or a dress person but if I wear capris or roll up my jeans they see the on on my ankle. The one on my neck can be seen if I wear my hair up. The Elvis one is on my upper arm, even with a t-shirt on, it is normally covered except sometimes you see the bottom of his signature. I am planning on at least one or two more. They are addicting for sure.

I have two...one on my lower back that I got a year ago in Venezuela...of a heart in the middle of a design, and one on my tummy on a whale's tail...I love that animal!
I never thought I would get more than one the whale I did back in 94....
but the one from Venezuela reminds me of a lot of that country and I just wanted another....
I am not planning on any more right now! LOL!
