I continue with the "Hot" theme. How about hot coffee? This is one of my favorite beverages. I also love it iced. Coffee to me gets me going in the morning, refreshes me in the afternoon, and does not keep me up at night surprisingly.
Coffee is also a bonding drink. How many times have you said you would like to "meet someone for coffee"? How about having "dessert and coffee"?
I must say I prefer to stop & get my coffee in the morning on the way to work. For some reason, I love coffee out better than my own. I know that might sound strange, but I do. Plus the taste is better in a paper cup than a metal traveling mug and/or thermos. Maybe it is laziness in my head.
How do you all like your coffee? (I drink mine with regular milk and Equal) Do you prefer yours out or made by yourself?

I make a pot of regular flavor at home in the morning, and drink that BLACK. On the way to work I stop at DD and get either a hot french vanilla 1 cream, 1 sugar (usually in cooler weather) or an iced french vanilla. If I make coffee at home later in the day I drink that black. If I go out for coffee (DD) I get either my regular french vanilla iced OR a blueberry iced, depends on my mood.
I buy any brand of coffee that's on sale, and make it taste like folgers with a pinch of salt.
I prefer my coffee OUT ...I think it DOES taste better!
Thanks Sue! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it tastes better out. WOW, you are a coffee fan drinking it black. I use regular milk. Sometimes half-n-half if I am out. Alot of places around her serve it with light cream. That makes it too light and too "milky" to me.
When I buy coffee I like to buy Folgers, Maxwell House or there is a chain grocery store called A&P and they sell Eight O'Clock Coffee. I like that brand too.
Years ago I used to drink flavored, a toss-up between hazlenut and french vanilla. But I've stuck to regular flavor now for awhile.
Well, since you asked, I definitely prefer to have a 2nd Cup knowing you'll drop by! I'm not really the coffee snob that people assume I am because of the blog title. I do like it creamy, but I used to drink it black. Blech. I am OK with foam cups or mugs, and I generally like my homemade coffee better than most, except for Starbucks. And I just discovered iced coffee earlier this year. Love it. Fun post!

I like my coffee at home but for only one reason...
my machine! We splurged on a Vienna Deluxe coffee machine by Saeco. You have fresh brewed coffee at any point in time you want it...morning, day, night, late, early..
you get my drift.
What happens is that you fill it with water and beans, it grinds it instantly and seves it... similar to a Starbucks machine only home size!
It makes delicious coffee. I like milk and sugar..or just one of the flavored creamers...hazelnut being my favorite!

I do miss my coffee. Since I found out I was prego, I haven't been drinking it. I love it with flavored creamer though. I do say all the time that I will meet friends at coffee. Funny how that is huh?

I use too drink my coffee black ,but now I have to have my cream french vanilla no sugar when I am going to stay at home for a long while before I go out I make my own coffe but, when I am in a hurry I am like you I will stop and pick up my coffee love it from the store too don't like to make a cup ang go I would rather stop and pay .marina
