Saturday 9: The Happy Labor Day Meme

1. What are you doing special this weekend for Labor Day?
Today I'm going up my sister's house & tonight we are going to an "End Of Summer" Party at a couple friend's house. Sunday my hubby has off of work so I actually get to see him in the daylight. Monday he has to work so I'll probably just hang around the house & catch up on housework, emails, blogs.

2. What was your best vacation this past summer?
Well I really didn't have a vacation. We were off a week & did different day trips. I would say my favorite one was Amish Country in PA.

3. Did you do anything special for the 4th of July?
No, not that I remember.

4. What did you do special for Memorial Day?
I can't even remember 4th of July...that was too far back to remember. LOL!

5. How was the weather? Tell us where you live and how the weather was as compared to summers past.
I live in NJ and the weather wasn't too bad. I have to admit though, I didn't spend much time outdoors. I'm asthmatic so I try to stay away from hanging outside when it is too hot out. Too cold & too hot don't work well with me.

6. Did you discover a new favorite summer drink?
No but my old favorite found me...LOL! I love Malibu Bay Breezes. For those of you who have never had one. It is Malibu (Coconut Rum) mixed with pineapple & cranberry juices. LOVE them. I like them shaken not stirred. Bond. Jodi Bond.

7. Did you enjoy this summer’s Olympics?
Ok, I'll just admit it. I didn't see one second of the Olympics. There, I said it.

8. I am from New England (Rhode Island). Lobster rules supreme in the summer. Is lobster part of your summer ritual?
It really isn't part of my summer ritual...I have it when I go to Red Lobster though. I love the tails and claws. Yummy!!!!!

9. What was the best single day of your summer?
My birthday of course. That was fun.
