In keeping with our HOT theme, today I am posting about the hot dog. This is one of my all-time favorite BBQ foods. I love them extra well done on the barbeque. I prefer all-beef hot dogs and for them to be bun length. I don't know why they all don't come like that. It should just be a set standard.
I like mine with ketchup and relish. How do you like yours?

Mmmm ....I prefer natural casing (Kayem or Essem) with onions, relish and mustard.
How come I work in a dang deli and you're the one who thought of HOT dog first?

I think I've had natural casing too. I haven't heard of those brands. What we have here and I guess this is the regular casing is Nathans, Best, Ball Park (I just had a memory of their commercial.."they plump when you cook them" back from the 70s), and Sabrett.
I brainstormed for like a half hour the other day. Feel free to copy my homework if you can't think of something..you can add your own take on it. I'm sure I'll be cheating off of you & getting ideas. (I.E. the Body Heat one...I already have my idea which movie I'm going to use)

I like the cheddar filled ones. I like them most out camping or at a BBQ. Have to have some mustard and ketchup!
