Thank you to everyone who commented & emailed me your prayers & support about my sister. Today was the day she got the stent taken out of her kidney. I received a phone call from her just a little while ago. She said it "wasn't too bad". By the looks of it, she said that the stent was a tad shorter than the first one she got months ago but not by much. She is a tad sore and her tummy is bothering her. She still is in pain from the infection on top of it. She had told the doctor that she still wasn't feeling well. He said they "will have to see what happens from here". She left his office with ONE 750mg worth of Levaquin. It is a strong antibiotic...but ONE?
We are hoping that since this stent is out it will give her body time to get the infection out of her system. He is convinced though that the stent was not causing it. Ok, I'm fine with that Dr, but what is? (sorry, thinking aloud) He does not know the answer. They have to "wait and see". I just pray that this infection leaves her and that she can get back to living a normal life again. She sees him in 10 days, he said sooner if she doesn't feel well.

Jodi I just got back form the Beth Moore conference and got too meet some of the bloggers in person it was really nice to see someone you talk to on line in person.
when we where at the conference during the worship part where everyone is praying I remember to left up your sister in prayer ! tell her to just turst in the Lord that is all he wants and he will heal her body no the doctors don't have the answer but the Lord does he created her and knows the very number on her sweet head she just needs to trust in God for her healing.Psalm 177,vs 18 " It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man" love, marina
hope things continue to get better fo ryour sister.....
Marina - I hope you had a wonderful time at the conference. I know you were so excited to go. I bet it was wonderful to meet people you blog with & get to know the faces behind the screen! Thank you so very much about lifting my sister in prayer during the worship service. You are a blessing!! She so appreciates it. Hopefully from today on she will only get better. B.J. - Thanks you are a sweetheart & a blessing.
Much love right back
Jodi :)
Jodi,
Thanks for posting the update. I kept checking for it.
Hang in there. Surround your sister with positive energy, positive thoughts, and prayers. I sent positive thoughts her way all day today. Will continue to do that.
Take care. It is very hard to see someone you love in pain. I've experienced that. But crack silly jokes, do silly stuff. Positive thoughts, energy and prayers will help.
Scriber's web - Thank you so much for all the positive energy. It is very much appreciated. I am famous for trying to make her laugh & trying to let her see the light at the end of the tunnel. She thinks I'm very silly. Most of the time I'm not even trying...I'm just that silly sometimes. hehehe
